She took her nap in there no problem, so I'm crossing my fingers that this evening will go as smoothly...The reason why we chose this comforter set was mainly to match the red in the small sofa we have in her room, and also grow with her and not be too baby-ish. It was so difficult finding a set that wasn't too juvenile and also had the right tone of red. This set, from Pottery Barn, was just what we were looking for! And, in typical Deanna-style, we waited until it was marked down before getting it!
The walls are painted a light pink, and I plan to paint some flowers eventually. Dave was a little hesitant about pink, but we already have yellow (Delanie's bath) and blue (nursery and playroom). Those of you who have all boys are either cringing or envious... :)
And the bottom picture is the end result, once all Delanie's "friends" moved into her room with her. Proof that we have a lot of stuffed animals! Thank you, Grandpie and Granny for the new polar bear!
